GENESIS 2026 – A Celebration of Talent and Creativity 29 August 2026 | Trinity College, Jalandhar Trinity College, Jalandhar, organised GENESIS 2026 – Talent Hunt under the aegis of the Cultural Committee, providing students with a dynamic platform to showcase their creativity, confidence, artistic expression, and diverse talents. The programme commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony, featuring the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a welcome address by Asst. Prof. Samriti, Chairperson, Cultural Committee. Dr. Ajay Prashar, Principal, Trinity College, Jalandhar, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to explore their potential, embrace new opportunities, and confidently showcase their talents beyond the classroom. The Talent Hunt witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 150 students across a wide spectrum of competitions, including Debate, Group Dance, Cartooning, Poster Making, Elocution, Business Idea Competition, Fashion Show, Best Out of Waste, Geet & Ghazal, Folk Song, Group and Solo Singing, Rangoli Making, Collage Making, Poetic Symposium, Skit & Ad-Mad Show, and Quiz. The diverse events provided students with opportunities to demonstrate their creativity, communication skills, artistic abilities, innovation, and competitive spirit. The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Rev. Fr. Subin Thekkedath, Chancellor, Diocese of Jalandhar, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances followed by an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, who appreciated the enthusiasm and talent displayed by the students and encouraged them to continue developing their abilities through active participation in co-curricular activities. The event culminated in the Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the participants. The prestigious "Trinity Star 2026" title was awarded to Anjala, BCA 3rd Semester, while the Maximum Participation Award was presented to the Senior Secondary Wing. The successful conduct of GENESIS 2026 was made possible through the collective efforts of the Management, Cultural Committee, faculty members, judges, event coordinators, College Cabinet, technical team, and students on duty. The programme reflected the institution's commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, leadership, teamwork, and holistic student development. GENESIS 2026 stood as a vibrant celebration of the varied talents of the Trinity community, providing students with an enriching platform to express themselves, learn through healthy competition, and discover their potential.
