Workshop on Resume Writing for Final-Year Students 3 September 2026 | Trinity College, Jalandhar The Trinity Centre for Employability and Placement (TCEP) organised a Workshop on Resume Writing for the final-year students of Trinity College, Jalandhar, with the objective of enhancing their career preparedness and equipping them with essential skills for the recruitment process. The workshop was conducted by the invited Resource Person, Ms. Sonali Bedi, who provided valuable insights into the importance of creating a well-structured and professional resume. The session covered key components of an effective resume, appropriate ways to present academic qualifications and professional experiences, and common mistakes that candidates should avoid. Students were guided on how to effectively highlight their skills, achievements, academic credentials, and experiences to create a resume that presents their strengths clearly and professionally. Practical examples, useful tips, and industry-oriented guidance were also shared to help students make their resumes more impactful and relevant to prospective employers. The interactive session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, providing students with practical knowledge and greater awareness of professional resume standards. The workshop formed an important part of TCEP's efforts towards strengthening students' employability and preparing them for successful career opportunities. The programme was conducted with the support and guidance of the Management and leadership of Trinity Group of Institutions, along with the dedicated efforts of the Placement Cell, contributing to the successful execution of the workshop.
